We again had the incredible opportunity to send off the old year and meet the new year in the company of God's Word.

BCSU’s National Forum was held this year from October 27th to 29th. Students and alumni from around the country gathered to praise God and encourage one another as we studied the Gospel of John together.

For the first time, BCSU is organizing a year-long internship program entitled “Barnabas”. This year eight student leaders and volunteers from the groups in Sofia, Veliko Turnovo, and Varna are participating in the program.

The General Assembly of BCSU was held in Sofia on May 20, The General Assembly of BCSU was held in Sofia on May 20, 2017 in BCSU’s office. There were 34 participants, including members of the board, the staff team, student delegates and volunteers.

From March 31st to April 2nd in the hotel “Promised Land” near the city of Sevlievo we held our first (in a long time) National Alumni Retreat.

On the 13th of April, a group of Bulgarian students traveled to the city of Aschaffenburg, Germany for the IFES European Evangelism Conference. With participants from 47 countries we celebrated together the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For the third year in a row, BCSU organized a Bible competition for students. The event took place on the 25th of March.

This year we held our annual leadership conference from March 3rd to 5th in Tryavna, Bulgaria. Student leaders from around the country met together in order to learn together how to organize and lead Bible studies for students.
