On the 13th of April, a group of Bulgarian students traveled to the city of Aschaffenburg, Germany for the IFES European Evangelism Conference. With participants from 47 countries we celebrated together the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
During our 5 days together we received teaching from the book of Jonah, participated in interactive response groups and seminars and heard many great testimonies of how God is at work in our world. It was especially exciting to hear the testimonies from the Middle East – these testimonies were both encouraged and challenged us not to give in to hardships but to faithfully follow Jesus and participate in His mission.
The conference offered many opportunities for the participants to be aware of opportunities to serve and the ways that student groups share the good news of Jesus in other countries throughout Europe.
