Congratulations, interns!
During the last weekend of May, the final event of the seventh group of participants in the Barnabas Internship Program took place. With much joy, gratitude and excitement we celebrated the successful end of another year of God working in and through the hearts of the interns.
During the weekend, interns and their mentors spent time studying the book of Philippians, looking at topics such as joy in ministry and Finishing Well. Participants practiced spiritual disciplines, shared what they learned throughout the year, and presented the projects they worked on with students in their cities.
Saturday night was dedicated to a special "graduation" filled with surprises, fun moments and lots of encouragement. We are filled with gratitude - to God and to each of the interns for their efforts and dedication throughout the year.
We continue to pray that each of them will grow in the depth of their relationship with God, be willing to learn, and seek like-minded partners in the journey of discipleship and ministry. We are grateful to walk alongside them and see them develop as leaders with character and vision.
