Leadership conference "Sent by the King"
This weekend, student leaders from across the country gathered in Plovdiv for our leadership conference, Sent by the King, to discuss not only leadership, but to immerse themselves in the wisdom of an ancient leader - Nehemiah.
Through study, discussion, and experience, participants learned about the qualities that made Nehemiah a remarkable leader-his unwavering faith, tenacity, and heart full of compassion, as well as the understanding that leadership is not standing alone, but walking together toward a common goal with others.
During these three days, students shared their experiences, their dreams and the challenges of the groups they are part of. The Barnabas students had their first tasks and responsibilities during the conference. From organizing sessions to leading group discussions, they gained hands-on experience that will undoubtedly serve them in their future leadership roles.
